Ensure hair is about a quarter-inch long for best results, avoid heavy exfoliation immediately before, skip topical retinoids that week, shower beforehand and wear loose, comfortable clothing to your appointment to reduce irritation risk.

Some discomfort is normal, especially first time, but sessions are quick and pain decreases with repeat waxing. Our technicians use techniques to minimize discomfort and can offer breaks, calming aftercare, and tips for easing sensitivity.

Most clients enjoy smooth results for three to six weeks depending on individual hair growth. With consistent appointments the hair typically grows back finer and less densely, often extending the time between sessions.

We generally recommend every four to six weeks at first to catch regrowth. Over time many clients extend to six to eight weeks as hair thins and growth slows with regular waxing.

Active skin infections, open wounds, severe varicose veins, recent pelvic surgery, or recent isotretinoin use can contraindicate waxing. Always disclose medications, skin conditions, or pregnancy so we can advise or offer alternatives.

Avoid hot baths, saunas, heavy exercise and sexual activity for 24 hours. Wear breathable cotton, skip tight clothing, gently exfoliate after 48 hours, and use soothing, fragrance-free products to reduce irritation and ingrown hairs.
