Frequently Asked Questions
Get answers to common questions about Full Arms.
A Full Arms waxing appointment usually takes 30 to 45 minutes depending on hair density and client needs. We include consultation, skin prep, waxing both arms, and soothing aftercare. First-time clients may need slightly longer for comfort and assessment.
Waxing isn't permanently removing follicles, but repeated Full Arms treatments weaken hair growth and can lead to finer, sparser regrowth. Many clients notice significant reduction over months; touch-ups every four to eight weeks maintain smooth results.
Before a Full Arms waxing session, let hair be about a quarter-inch long and gently exfoliate forty-eight hours beforehand. Avoid heavy creams, sun exposure, and retinoids for several days. Clean, dry skin helps the technician achieve the best, most comfortable results.
Some temporary redness or mild irritation is normal, and ingrown hairs can occur. Our technicians use proper technique, soothing post-wax care, and recommend exfoliation and moisturizing to help prevent ingrowns. If you have very sensitive skin, notify us for a tailored approach.
Many clients with sensitivity can still wax safely, but we require a consultation and patch test. Disclose medications, recent procedures, or known allergies beforehand. Some conditions, and recent isotretinoin use, may contraindicate waxing; our staff will recommend the safest alternative.
We recommend scheduling Full Arms waxes every four to eight weeks depending on your personal hair growth. Waiting at least three weeks ensures hair is long enough for effective removal. Regular appointments encourage finer regrowth and extend smooth intervals between treatments.
